THE STORY
"You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand."
-Woodrow T. Wilson

I am here because I want to make the world we live in more beautiful through design, to create spaces and print work in which inspiration is constantly surrounding a person every time they walk into a space, pick up a brochure, or look at a website. I love being a designer because the creative thought process is none like any other art. Design is about the experiences of our senses, emotions, and physical being. Design is the only discipline that incorporates math, science, and art together. Combine these cohesively and a person has an aesthetically pleasing and functional, thought-provoking experience. I believe that it is my duty as a responsible designer to design for all people and to celebrate those who have left us, those that are around us, and the children that will become us.
I was born in Abilene, Texas and grew up in Austin, Texas. After attending Lake Travis High School I proceeded to Stephen F. Austin State University for my Bachelors of Science in Interior Design. I minored in Art with emphasis in Digital Media and Ad Design.
After college, I relocated to Houston, Texas to work for Philip Johnson Alan Ritchie Architects. Realizing I missed my family and friends in Austin, I moved back to Austin in 2012.
Outside of the office I love live music, mexican food, yoga, riding horses, wine tastings, volunteering with Cane Corso Rescue and exploring dog-friendly places in Austin with my rescue dog named Remington.
